“Hi! My name is Max. I’m a handsome guy and very smart. You would never believe I am about 8 years old. My extra long legs MAXi-mize my playtime romping. I am a strong walker and my Foster Mom is working with me on that. I weigh 65 pounds so my adopter will need to be able to manage my strength. I would love to have a large yard to run these long legs in! I can sit, stay, shake, lay down, and fetch. Road trips rock! My short active playtime is always entertaining and I love tomake my folks laugh.

“While I’m not comfortable around other dogs or cats, I LOVE the visiting older kids who don’t scare me. I confess I am a big chick-a-doodle, weenie, ninny, all of those… gulp… I frighten myself sometimes. I am really trying yet for now, I am just accepting the fact that I need to be around calm peeps to be relaxed. I am super happy anytime I am feeling safe and snuggling between my Foster Folks on the couch or lying at their feet. I have a huge woof when someone comes to the door, but a great buddy once my Folks let you inside. Everyone loves me. I bet you will too!”
