“Hello there Folks!  My name is Alana and I’m a 9 year old, 55 pound boxer.

I’ve been in rescue for almost a year, seeking my forever home.  Now, don’t get me wrong, I love my foster home, but I’ve been wishing for a home of my own. I’d prefer to be the only dog in my home.

“I am a very sweet, quiet and gentle girl.  I love going on walks, I have wonderful leash manners and like to do a couple zoomies now and then. I love to be around people of all sizes; kids are good too as long as they are gentle with me. I love to snuggle and will follow you wherever you go. I’ve been known to hand out kisses pretty freely to all who accept.

“If you need to leave for a bit,  I will happily be crated with something yummy to snack on.  My wish for a new home would be a family who would take me on daily strolls, allow me to cuddle at night and maybe a car ride through a Starbucks for a Puppuccino… or two!”

Alana is posted for NW Boxer Rescue and she is being fostered in Portland, Oregon.
