Amigo

Amigo is the sweetest little love bug! He has the cutest underbite and loves to give kisses.  His vet says he’s 10+ years old.

Amigo’s new family says they once had a chihuahua that lived to be 18, so they are hoping that with proper care this tiny fellow will live a long life.  He was surrendered to the shelter for no fault of his own. I’m sure he was terrified and just wanted a warm place to snuggle under his favorite blanket in a nice bed.  His new family gladly provides that for this special boy.

Amigo is blind in both eyes and has ear infections that are pretty bad. He is currently under the care of his vet to clear up the infections and he doesn’t seem to mind all the attention he’s getting one bit.

His cataracts will need treatment with an eye specialist and he is now receiving eye medications to heal an injury to his right eye.

Amigo also has a heart murmur and is in need of a major dental.  I’m sure this precious boy was well loved in his previous home but he now has several issues requiring care.  Old Dog Haven will provide the care he needs as he settles into his new Final Refuge family.

His new family looks forward to lots of time with this precious soul thanks to all the support and care he will receive from Old Dog Haven.
