When Babar’s owner passed away he was surrendered to a rescue who couldn’t afford the extensive medical care he needed. Luckily, Old Dog Haven was able to take him in. Since coming to his foster home, Babar has had an ultrasound, a large mast cell tumor removed, and entropion surgery on both eyes. He has also been treated for ear, eye, and urinary tract infections. Babar will be on many daily medications for the rest of his life to keep him healthy and comfortable. He is very sweet, likes to give kisses, and enjoys the company of his dog and cat siblings.

Update:  After close to 5 years (an amazing length of time for ODH), Babar’s wonderful Final Refuge mom had to finally say goodbye.  He was a very special boy and will be greatly missed.
