Beautiful Bailey is a Chow Chow who recently lost her human. Extended family believes that Bailey is about 10 years old and that she weighs approximately 70 pounds. She is spayed but when Bailey last saw a vet for vaccines or any other information about her vetting and health status is unknown. She appears to be a healthy girl but she does have “weepy eyes”. Bailey needs an adopter that will get her to the vet upon adoption for a check up. This lovely girl deserves a home with someone who can and will afford her lifelong care.

We are told that Bailey has lived with other dogs peacefully, keeping to herself.  When meeting new dogs she doesn’t interact with them and doesn’t mind cats. Bailey has not been observed around children much but she could be fine with older, calm and respectful kids. Bailey gravitates towards women. She is described as being quiet and very sweet.

Bailey’s nails are very overgrown so doing stairs at this time are hard for her. Getting those nails trimmed at her first vet visit will make such a difference for her! Since her owner was bed-bound, she hasn’t gotten out much for exercise. Reportedly Bailey does OK on leash. Wouldn’t it be wonderful for her to have a daily routine where she could get out and stretch her legs?

Bailey is located in Kirkland, WA., very ready to go to her forever home. For contact information, please email: referrals@olddoghaven.org

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
