From his ODH family:  Beau came to us four months ago, and instantly shared his love and devotion with us. Sadly, we knew that even with lots of medication he was never going to be able to get away from the severe arthritis pain he had to deal with on a daily basis.  Even with that being said, Beau was always happy, affectionate and sometimes a big old clown!  He was the one male dog living with five females, but he was certainly a good sport about being the “token male” in the group. His sisters made sure he knew THEY were in charge! Beau always had a “smile” on his face, and a deep look of gratitude in his wonderful brown eyes. But when he finally just ran out of steam and it seemed to be too much of an effort to even get off his bed, we knew it was time to say goodbye. We will always remember him with great fondness and only wish we had been able to be with him when he was younger and felt much better! You will be missed Big Guy!
