Benny is a tender-hearted boy who, at 9 years old, is just now learning how to relax and be a dog. Benny appears to be a spaniel mix who weigh 18 pounds. He is agile and energetic and ready to go on walks, hikes or whatever else his person wants to do. Benny takes a little time to warm up but as soon as he realizes that he is safe he will be the best friend that you’ve ever had. He is a champion couch potato and loves napping in between walks. This boy will need a patient, committed home where there won’t be any time limits on his adjustment to his new environment.

Benny wants to be somebody’s one and only so a home without other dogs or cats would be best for him. Because of the unpredictable nature of young children, any children in the home should be 10 years or older.

Benny is quiet, calm and very gentle. He has impeccable house manners and is crate trained. Please go to www.save-a-mutt.org and complete an on-line adoption application if you would like to meet Benny. Benny is being fostered in Stanwood, WA.

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
