“A chick magnet” is what 11 year old Bentley is described as. This very handsome King Charles Cavalier weighs about 30 pounds. Bentley enjoys the water and going out in a kayak! Most of all Bentley loves to cuddle. He sure sounds like a fun dog, doesn’t he?

Bentley has lived with other dogs in the past and done well with other dogs. He enjoys playing with dogs his size. When he was younger Bentley lived with a cat. While he’s never lived with kids, he is good with meeting them and fine when they want to pet them. Of course he’d only appreciate gentle pats!

At this time Bentley can manage stairs without issue. He enjoys walks and would be very happy to get out for a daily walk. We are told he can pull while on leash so one must be able to manage his strength. In spite of being a resident of Washington state, he is not a fan of the rain. Bentley loves to have a ball or stick thrown into the water so that he can retrieve them.

As comes with age, Bentley’s hearing is not as sharp as it once was. He has done well being left alone in his home when the humans leave. With time to acclimate, we’d assume he could do just the same in his new home. Bailey likes to hang out on the couch. If you have the TV on and he sees a horse or a dog on TV, he will bark! Aside from that it sounds as though he only barks when he’s excited during play.

We think someone is going to be very lucky to adopt Bentley!

Bentley is located in Seattle, WA. For contact information please email: referrals@olddoghaven.org

This is a courtesy post. Bentley is not an Old Dog Haven dog. Old Dog Haven has not assessed this dog for medical issues and will not be responsible for medical care after adoption. We urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
