“My name is Malia, and I’m an elegant senior lady of 8 years on a quest to find a loving new home. I’m a sweet and affectionate girl who loves people. Once I get to know you my heart is yours, and I’ll shower you with love and companionship. Being the wonderful individual that I am, I prefer to be the queen of my castle, so a home where I can be the only dog would suit me best. Cats are a no for me too!
“As you can see I am very thin. I’d like to eat human food but the folks here at the shelter are helping me learn that eating food meant for dogs is best. They ordered me a food that is higher in calories and guess what??!! I like it!! I still graze though, it’s my way. However with time and good food, they say I will gain more weight and look and feel my best!
