Bo is an easy going black lab who is estimated to be about 10 years old-give or take a few months.  Bo weighs 70 pounds.

Bo came to rescue from the shelter with no name, poor fellow.  He was so sweet and didn’t mind being crammed into the back of a car for transport with two other large dogs.  He just seemed so grateful and happy.  His foster parents just adore him and liked the name “Bo” for him.  It’s unknown how well he hears but “Bo” he is.

It seems he hasn’t had much experience with other dogs because he lights up when he sees one and wants to run to it.  Otherwise he’s doing pretty well on the lead, though it’s new to him. It is unknown how he is with cats.

Bo has settled in very nicely with his foster family but he’s ready for his forever family now.   Bo is housebroken and does well in the bath and car.  He loves going on walks and the years are just slipping off of him as he gets used to good food, creature comforts, and love and security.  He’s a really terrific dog.

As a senior he has some stiffness in his leg but his foster family is working on that.  He’s fully vetted, has sparkly clean teeth, and a lot of baseline health information to go with him to his new veterinarian.

Bo is a cross post for Rebecca’s Rainbow.

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters do their own evaluations.
