Bori
A devoted companion
Bori is a sweet 11-year-old, 35 pound Beagle who found herself in a shelter, unsure of what the future would hold after her owner passed away. Now that she has landed in a rescue, she is hoping to find one thing she misses most — her person.
Bori absolutely loves people and thrives on attention and affection. She enjoys being outside, going for walks, and simply spending time by your side. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will happily keep you company throughout the day, Bori may be your perfect match.
Bori does enjoy the company of other dogs and will seek them out for companionship. However, she does best as the only pet in the home. Bori can resource guard food from other animals, and if her person is eating, she may also guard from other dogs to keep them away from the food. When food is not involved, she is social and enjoys canine friends.
She shows absolutely no aggression toward people and does not try to take her person’s food. She just does not want another dog to have her person’s food.
Bori has experienced many adventures with her foster parents. She visited the Edmonds waterfront, rode the light rail, took a ferry to Bremerton, and was so well behaved while her foster parents had dinner on the Bremerton waterfront. She greeted people and made friends everywhere she went. Bori loves to have adventures but also enjoys a good nap and a cuddle in the recliner. Bori is great on leash, walking right beside her foster parents.
Bori is looking for her person — someone with time to share, love to give, and a heart ready for a devoted companion. If that sounds like you, Bori is your girl.
Bori is posted for Seattle Beagle Rescue. Bori is currently in foster home in Edmonds, WA. However, in 2 weeks, she will be moving to a foster home in Richland, WA.
