Bow is a friendly, energetic little patterdale terrier mix. Weighing in at about 26 pounds of joy, this little guy likes just about everyone. Bow is a senior boy of at least 8 years old. He  has been given a clean bill of health by the vet through the humane society.

Bow has the energy of a much younger dog. He’s good with other dogs, people, dog-confident cats and even livestock! He’s fully housetrained and does pretty well on a leash, though you’ll want to use a harness as he can be a little stubborn when he wants to go a different direction than you. Bow is the king of tug-of-war and would love to join a household with another similarly-sized dog that will play tug with him. He’s not destructive, but does need attention and enrichment throughout the day or he gets a little barky.

Bow would probably be happiest in a home with a fully fenced yard or someone with a lot of time to take him for long walks and play sessions. “Bow-rrito”, as his foster family calls him, loves to hang on the couch with you and loves to show you his toys. He’s great at sharing everything except his toys, so you’ll want to be sure there are a lot of options to go around. He will greet you with a smile and a wagging tail every time you come into the room. Bow sleeps great on his own in the living room, but wouldn’t mind a family that lets him sleep near them.
