Are you looking for a soothing, snuggle buddy? Bubba may be your guy! This big guy, Bubba, has had it rough. When he was a young adult he was used as a bait dog. This has left him aggressive towards other dogs. Bubba has been OK with cats and even chickens. He was rescued when he was 3 years old by an extremely loving retired couple that adored Bubba. Unfortunately, both of them have had to move into a retirement home and are not able to bring him. Bubba would be happiest in a home where he can take short walks, be a couch potato and snuggle in bed! He cannot be in a home with any other dogs or children under 13.

Bubba is about 9 years old and at almost 120 pounds, he is very much overweight. Bubba’s adopter will need to put him on a strict diet with some light exercise to help lose the extra weight. He also has arthritis, which is probably caused by the extra weight on his joints. Bubba will feel SO much better once he loses weight!

This dear boy enjoys car rides, rope toys and squeaky toys. Bubba is also housebroken. If you are looking for a homebody who could be your lounge partner, Bubba may be your match!

Bubba is posted for Kitsap Animal Rescue and Education (KARE) located in Silverdale, WA. For more information about Bubba and adopting him, please email: adoptions@nwkare.org or phone: (360) 602-6717.

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
