“Hi, my name is Buddy! I am a 8 to 9 year-old lab mix, neutered, and fully vetted.

“I was found on the street corner, near the edge of the woods with a brand-new ball and wearing a brand-new harness. My rescuers tried very hard to find my family to no avail. Since my family could not be located, the authorities said it was okay for my rescuers to help me find a home. I am a great dog and they would love to keep me, but they have small grandkids and I seem pretty big to them, which is no fault of my own. Could you be my new amazing forever person/family?

“Don’t let my age fool you, I am still a very active dog and would love to go out and about with you on adventures. My favorite thing is to have you throw the ball for me over and over, again and again. Please have your throwing arm ready! I’m also good at lounging around and hanging out at home. Another dog in my new home would be amazing to hang out with when you’re not home to be with me. I am small and big dog friendly. We just don’t know how I am with cats so no cats for me please.

“I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but it only takes me a minute for me to warm up. If they have a treat, I will be their new best friend in no time.

“Are you ready to be my new family? I would love to meet you to see if we can love each other forever.”
