Budzie

Budzie is an older guy with a soulful face and the kind of wisdom you only get from really living. He’s seen a bit of the world, learned a few lessons along the way, and now he’s ready to slow things down and enjoy the good life. He landed in the shelter as a stray, so not much is known about him. The shelter has estimated him to be about 10 years old. Budzie weighs 75 pounds.

This sweet guy isn’t asking for much—just a comfortable place to rest, gentle walks, and a human buddy to share his days with. Budzie appreciates the simple pleasures: a soft bed, kind words, and someone nearby who enjoys his quiet companionship. Budzie would be a wonderful match for a home looking for a loyal friend rather than a high-energy project. He’s past the chaos of puppyhood and happy to settle into a peaceful routine, offering steady affection and gratitude in return. Budzie has been observed in a play group at the shelter, but he did not enjoy the playful dogs. He would probably be happiest as an only dog.
