Buster

Meet Buster! Buster is a sweet senior dachshund who is about 9 years old and weighs 18 pounds. Buster’s previous owners told the shelter that Buster is very active and loves to run around and play. He has had a tendency to run off in the past, so Buster will need a fenced yard and supervised outside time so he stays safe and secure. Buster has lived with cats before, and his previous owners indicated that he is house trained – he will go to the door and bark when he wants to go outside. Buster seems to be a very affectionate little dog and will make someone the perfect companion. Buster can get a little overwhelmed with a lot of activity, and can get nervous if someone reaches for him too quickly, so he would do best in a quiet home without small kids.
