Buddy

Isn’t Buddy handsome? He’s said to be a Flat Coat Retriever mix. Buddy is a big, strong boy at 74 pounds. He is not quite 10 years old and he often acts younger than his age. Buddy is a bouncy dog who thoroughly enjoys going for walks. He needs a home with someone who can manage his strength on leash. Buddy does have some arthritis and benefits from daily glucosamine and an anti-inflammatory. We are told that Buddy currently lives with another dog and gets along with other dogs, he’s described as “a submissive sweetheart”. Buddy has lived with cats and children too. He’d do best in a home with kids age 12 and over as he been bothered by younger children who are not gentle with him. He needs someone who will keep things out of his reach when he’s left alone. Reportedly Buddy can go without a potty break for quite a while. Stairs are becoming more difficult for him to manage so a home without too many would be good for him. We are told Buddy is a happy dog who will give a friendly lean into people he just met!
