Canela

8-year-old Canela is an affectionate, easygoing senior lady who is dreaming of a forever home. She is listed as a 70-pound Bull Terrier mix.

Canela would love a family that will include her in their adventures. Whether it’s walks, car rides or light hiking, Canela is your girl. If catching up on the latest miniseries is your idea of a good time, she will curl up next to you and join along.

Canela has met other dogs and is fine with respectful dogs possessing the same calm demeanor that she possesses. If she has had enough playing, she will leave the party and find a soft spot to watch from a distance.

Canela has strong prey drive and cannot live with cats or other small animals. Because of the quick and unpredictable nature of young children, she should have a home without children under 12 years of age.

Canela recently received a Senior Wellness Exam with bloodwork. She was overweight when she arrived. It is recommended that she stay on the lean side and take joint supplements daily to support healthy joints. Canela is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines.
