Cassie

Cassie is a tender-hearted girl who is longing for a quiet home where she can spend her day relaxing with her people. She is a 10-year-old Golden Retriever who weighs 85 pounds. Cassie is a homebody and would be very happy with a family that stays close to home.

Cassie loves playing in her backyard and can keep herself entertained; therefore, her rescuers are asking for a securely fenced backyard. She also loves being lazy with her people while they read or catch up on their favorite shows. Cassie will go with your flow. Cassie has lived her life as an only dog. She would love to be someone’s one and only but she would be fine sharing her home with a calm, submissive male dog. She has been non-reactive to the cats in her foster home and would be fine living with dog-savvy cats. Because of the quick and unpredictable nature of young children her rescuers are asking for a home without children under 13 years of age.
