Chance is a sensitive fella who will melt your heart with just one look. This 8 year old chihuahua mix weighs 12 pounds. He is quiet and calm and he just longs for the company of his people. Chance would love a family that isn’t gone for a long work day because he gets lonely. He would be a great companion for a retired person who wants a friend to share the beauty that each day has to offer. Chance loves life and everything it has to offer.

Chance is a friend to other dogs and he has lived peacefully with a cat. His foster mom is a teacher and he loves spending time with the students. He would be fine with respectful, dog savvy children. He is simply a friend to all. Chance has wonderful house manners and loves going for walks. He is ready to go when you are!

Chance recently received a Senior Wellness Exam with bloodwork. He also had surgery for cruciate ligament repair of his left hind leg. He has been receiving weekly acupuncture and laser treatments. He also received a course of Adequan injections. Chance has recovered well but will sometimes run while holding left leg up. This may be a habit that has developed over time because of the damaged ligament.

Chance is posted for for Save-A-Mutt. He is being fostered in Snohomish County, WA.  If you’d like to learn more about Chance, please email: elizabeth@save-a-mutt.org or check out their Petfinder link: www.petfinder.com/pet-search?shelter_id=WA630
