Meet Charlie, a chill and independent older dog looking for his forever home through Regional Animal Services of King County! This handsome boy is 8 years old and he weighs 65 pounds.

Charlie was found left in a backyard and brought in by an Animal Control Officer 11/12/24 and is now available for adoption. Despite his rough start, he’s shown himself to be a sweet, go-with-the-flow dog who enjoys spending time with people but is also happy doing his own thing.

He is treat-motivated and enjoys gentle petting, though he has some stiffness in his hind area. He has abnormal gum tissue and a skin growth on his right hock that may need further care. He’d do best in a home with older children and experienced owners who can respect his boundaries.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a gentle demeanor, Charlie might be the perfect match for you.

Charlie is posted for the Regional Animal Services of King County (RASKC) in Kent, WA. You can visit him at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. RASKC is located at 21615 64th Ave S, Kent, WA 98032.  Website:  www.kingcounty.gov/en/dept/executive-services/animals-pets-pests/regional-animal-services/adopt-a-pet
