“My name is Charlie, I am about 8 years old, and I was in a small shelter in Oregon about to get euthanized when the nice people here stepped in to help me! I needed a little work in the medical department, but they have made me feel much better!

I am told I am a very cute mix and that I look a bit like a mini sled dog! I weigh 19 pounds, have a long fluffy coat like a husky, and I also like to “talk”. What do you think I am mixed with? I have heard them say Shiba Inu, but they did a test, and we will know soon enough!

I am a very happy boy, and I love to go for walks. I am in great shape for a senior guy, and I don’t think I am ready for couch life just yet! I am still active and want a home that will take me for walks and adventures. I love meeting new people and doing new things. I even flew to rescue on a private plane..it was fun!

I just got neutered, and I have a tendency to mark, but hopefully getting neutered slows down the urge to do that…I will report back about that soon! I do Ok being left alone, and I have been friendly with the other dog in the home.

I am just an all-around fun and happy guy and I can’t wait to start my next adventure with you!”
