Chloe
Truly living her best life
Please note: The dogs in ODH's Final Refuge care are not adoptable due to medical reasons and all are in permanent homes. Your sponsorship supports the veterinary expenses for these dogs - and we thank you!
Chloe made her way to her Old Dog Haven foster home after she found herself terrified at a local shelter at the age of 14. This adorable 10 lb chi-terrier was described as timid and submissive but very affectionate. She needed a loving and patient home to help her regain her confidence and get the medical care she needed. After receiving vet care and a much-needed dental surgery, her foster mom could see the difference right away. Chloe felt so much better and this little girl finally had her appetite back.
Chloe has adjusted well to her new home and her foster mom loves her energetic spirit. She told us this happy girl is very athletic and really likes to go for fast walks and then enjoys cuddling up in one of her very soft beds to sleep the rest of the day. She loves to spend time with her mom and also shares an exceptionally close connection with her new foster dad, and enjoys cuddling up and showering him with gentle kisses. She is always by his side, making it impossible not to fall in love with her more each day!
Surrounded by lots of love, this once-scared senior girl is living the best days of her life in her forever home.
