Happy 70 pound lab dog!

Olive’s owner sadly passed away and this senior girl was taken to a local shelter. This sweet old girl had elevated liver enzymes and cataracts in both eyes that result in her only seeing shadows. Old Dog Haven was contacted and a wonderful final refuge family volunteered to give her the home she desperately needed. She will now receive the very best vet care and is now on a supplement for her liver and has seen an ophthalmologist who is monitoring her eye condition.
Her loving foster mom reports, “She’s the sweetest girl and she doesn’t let her vision issues slow her down. She loves toys and can throw the ball to herself for hours without getting tired. She thinks she’s a 70 lb lap dog and loves to snuggle on the couch. Thanks to Old Dog Haven she’s now a happy healthy girl!”
