Darling Cleo is a happy go lucky, sweet and social 12 year young piebald gal who weighs 20 pounds.  She loves to give lots of kisses to everyone and everything. She does well with other small dogs and tolerates cats. Cleo is potty trained and will let you know when it’s time to go potty, enjoys her daily walks and does super well on a leash (she does like to “stop and sniff the flowers” ) and is a wonderful car passenger.

She LOVES sleeping in the big bed, having her humans home and snuggles. She is very, very, treat motivated which means keeping her weight ideal must be a priority; however, her favorite green beans are low fat and healthy! Cleo is not much of a barker –  only when need be or out of joy when playing with the other dogs. She is playful, enjoys running around the house doing zoomies. Cleo is a healthy girl, does have slight vision loss but this does not hold her back.

Cleo would do best in a home with active retirees or people who work from home/stay at home. She would appreciate canine companionship similar to her age. The rescue is hoping to find adopters with breed specific knowledge who have a home with limited stairs and a securely fenced yard. To keep Cleo healthy, she needs daily walks and would be happiest in a quiet home.

Cleo is posted for Hearts4Doxies Rescue. She is being fostered in Edmonds, WA. If you meet the requirements to offer Cleo an adoptive home, applying to do so is the first step to the Hearts4Doxies adoptive process – https://forms.gle/kNJ9vfoLmK8fBdx87

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
