“Hi, my name is Curly!

“My owner passed away so I found myself in search of a new home! My foster family has another dog and cat and we get along just fine. Sometimes we spend time in my big dog-bed, and sometimes I join them in one of theirs. While I haven’t started playing with them yet , when they want to, I cuddle with them. I am a 10 year old Chug. If you don’t know what that means, I am what happens when you mix a chihuahua and a pug!

“I had gotten out of the habit of going potty outside when my owner was sick, but with my new foster family, I have done great! They take me out twice a day for a walk. If they see me go to the door, get antsy, or whine. they know to let me out in the yard.

“Sometimes I whine and talk a lot before a walk or especially a car ride, but I calm down. I do better with someone next to me in the car, and am fine in a crate. I love being out in the yard, going for walks, and hanging out with my foster family. I like sitting next to you with my head on your lap, or being cuddled.

“I am still young at heart and in great shape!  My vet says I’m very healthy at 19.5 pounds, a good weight, and ready to go to my forever home!”
