Lovely, 13 year old Daisy is a 67 pound shepherd mix in need of a new home. Daisy has lived peacefully with other dogs and recently went on a camping trip where there were other dogs. With proper introductions, she did just fine with them. Consistent, smart introduction practices will be in Daisy’s best interest. Daisy has not ever lived with cats.
Daisy is described as “having the spirit of a 5 year old dog with the demeanor of an older dog”. We are told she loves hiking and running on the beach. Daisy is good on leash and has had some basic training. She knows how to shake hands. She knows how to high 5. Daisy knows other basic commands like sit stay calm and go get it.
Daisy is wonderful with humans of all ages; she LOVES people and being affectionate with them. She is great with kind children and gentle with taking food and treats. Her person tells us she greets them every time they come home with joy. She sounds WONDERFUL!
Daisy takes an inexpensive medication for her occasional incontinence. This is not uncommon in older dogs but of course, should be monitored. Daisy’s adopter should be able and willing to afford her lifelong vetting and good quality food. Daisy’s owners will share her medical information with potential adopters.
During the day Daisy is OK to stay home alone, hanging out inside the house. She does need a potty break every 3-4 hours. At this time she can still do stairs. Daisy will alert you with barking when visitors to her home arrive.
Daisy is located in Seattle, WA. For contact information please email: firstname.lastname@example.org
This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
