“Hello, my name is Daniel and I am looking for a new home. I’m an 11 year old Maltese. I am not one of those tiny maltese; I weigh a little over 12 pounds. I need a new home because my owner has passed away. I have been staying with nice people who offered to take care of me but they cannot keep me. Their big dog doesn’t like me! I don’t understand why he doesn’t like me, I’ve tried to be very nice but I guess he doesn’t want to share his family with me? I used to live with cats so I’m very good with them too. Kids are fine with me as long as they don’t treat me roughly. Speaking of rough, yes I am looking a little rough these days. I could use a grooming! Once that’s done you will see how handsome I really am. My owner didn’t get me out much for walks but I’d love to find a home with someone who will take me out. I am a good boy on leash. I can handle stairs but I’m not really strong in my rear legs. Maybe you can find something to help me with that?

Guess what? I don’t have any teeth! I’m a friendly little guy who tries hard to please people. I really hope to find a new home soon with people who won’t leave me behind again. I just want someone who will love, care and appreciate me. ”
