Dexter

Dexter is a tender hearted fella who just wants to be near his people. He is 8 years old and weighs 15 pounds.

Dexter is affectionate, loyal and he is the best cuddle there is.  Dexter has great house manners and is housebroken.  He will bark to alert his people but doesn’t bark without a reason.  Dexter is a good little car riding companion and would love to be part of a family that will include him in all their adventures.  He wouldn’t be happy being left alone for the long work day.

Dexter has lived with other dogs and has been a gentleman with other dogs that he has met along the way.  It is unknown if he has experience with cats but, because he is such a gentle boy, his rescuers think a dog savvy cat would be fine.  Dexter would love a calm home that is mostly quiet, therefore, any children in the home should be over 8 years of age.
