Raegan is a 12 year old senior lady full of charm and personality. A lovely shepherd mix, she weighs 45 pounds. Raegan would like to be the only animal in her new home. Being the older girl that she is, Raegan is accustomed to things being her way. So, while she will always love receiving continuous pets and affection, she absolutely does not like to be overhandled by being restrained.

Raegan has allowed the children in her foster home to snuggle with her and she adores the attention. Raegan loves people of all ages! She commands the room and will always let you know when she needs your love and affection and will ask that you play tug with her various assortment of toys.

Being a lady of her distinguished age, she does struggle with arthritis and she recently received a dental, but that obviously does not slow her down one bit. Raegan is ready to shower you with love and will assuredly fill your life with joy and fun!

Raegan is very easy to walk on the leash most of the time. She will pull towards fast-moving cars and bicycles. She prefers not to see other dogs on her walks. She will bark and pull at them, but just keep her moving or choose an alternate route and the walk will be much more enjoyable!

Raegan’s shelter fosters say that she is the sweetest dog. Her favorite hobbies are tugging with her toys, taking walks, and eating. After a nice walk, she is happy to receive pets and take a little nap. She is a smart girl! She knows verbal commands such as: sit, stay, lay down, speak, shake, out-of-the-kitchen, and off-the-couch. Though she does get excited to have her leash on, she will sit politely when asked.

Her foster family reports that Raegan has not had any accidents in the house. However, they do take her out several times per day. She sleeps through the night in her crate without any barking or accidents. At first she didn’t like going into her crate but she has learned to accept it after getting a little treat once she goes in.

Raegan is ready to move on to a committed, adoptive lifetime home!
