Littermates Diana and Charlie are sweet retriever mix pups between 11-12 years old. Their exact weight is unknown but they are both over 60 pounds. Diana is the more shy dog of the two, she’s the blonde. Her brother is a handsome black dog with longer hair. These lifetime companions’ owner passed away and now they are losing the home they’ve lived in. The hope is that they can find an adopter that will give a home together. Both dogs are said to be good with other dogs; though neither would appreciate a young, hyper dog. They’ve lived with cats and are good with children who are gentle. Charlie and Diana both appear to have arthritis and each are having a hard time managing stairs. More than likely they’d benefit from joint supplements. Neither dog has seen a vet in a couple of years so whomever adopts them should be able to get them to a vet for check ups and afford their regular care. Charlie seems to be hard of hearing, a common occurrence in senior dogs. According to their caregivers, the pair has always had access to getting outside to potty and they are good about getting out to do so when needed. The siblings appreciate their daily walk and are good on leash. We can’t think of anything more rewarding than giving a pair of senior siblings their forever home!

Charlie and Diana are in Newcastle, WA ready for adoption.

These are not ODH dogs; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
