Duncan is a roly-poly guy with a goofy personality. At 11 years old he is a mellow guy unless he gets to go on a walk! He absolutely adores walks and is very exuberant about them. He is just about blind, so you have to guide him a bit so he does not run into trees, but he does surprisingly well on a leash. When he first came into rescue his eyes were really bad from dry eye but they have dramatically improved with medication. This is something he will need for the rest of his life.

Duncan is getting used to having set meal times and eats well. He was previously free-fed, which no doubt contributed to his current figure. He is indifferent to other dogs, he lived with another senior dog and currently shares a house with two other older small dogs. He does not like to be left alone and can be vocal about it, so he will need a home without a shared wall.

Duncan used a dog door in his previous house and was said he was house-trained, however, his foster family reports he does need a belly band when left alone in the house.
He has proven himself to be quite the lap dog and loves to curl up in your lap. Duncan is a true pug in that he has all the hysterical, loving attributes we all love about them as well as the stubborn streak that often comes with the breed.
