Meet Ebby! She came into rescue when her previous owner could no longer care for her. She is a great size for a gentle companion- about 20 pounds. Ebby is 10 years old. Her rescuers call her a poodle mix.

Ebby’s ideal home will be a quiet environment in which she can relax and spend time with the people she loves. She needs a home without other dogs, children, or cats. Ebby can be reactive toward other dogs and may bark when passing them on walks. She’ll do best with an adopter who understands dog reactivity and is comfortable giving her space from other dogs while walking.

Ebby is described as being “cat-like,” meaning she likes receiving attention on her terms; she does not appreciate being pushed to show or receive affection (who wants to be forced?!). She does enjoy her walks and spending time with people she knows. It is always rewarding when you gain the love, loyalty, and trust of a dog. Her rescuers believe she may have a bit of arthritis. Ebby’s adopter should be able to provide veterinary care to keep Ebby as healthy and comfortable as possible. She will also need regular grooming to keep her looking adorable!

Ebby is posted for Welfare for Animals Guild located in Sequim, WA. For more information about Ebby, please visit their website to fill out an adoption application http://www.wagsequimwa.com. If you have any questions, please email: wagranch@yahoo.com
