10-year-old Emma is a 10-pound maltese mix. Isn’t she adorable? Emma is a shy girl; she prefers her people over other dogs but would be fine with another dog who is calm and doesn’t want to invade her “space”. Emma is allergic to cats. She takes an allergy medication called Apoquel that has helped with her allergy to cats and environmental allergies that cause her to itch. While Emma loves adults, she does not like children of any age. It is important that Emma not go to a home with children or even one where children may visit. Emma is crate trained and used to staying in her crate while her people are away at work. She walks well on leash and she can handle stairs. Not only is Emma cute, she is smart too. She knows some basic verbal commands and will “dance” on her hind legs when she hears the rustle of a treat bag. Emma would love a home with someone who’d perhaps let her sleep in their bed; she’s a great snuggler. Once she is comfortable, Emma’s sweet personality shines.

Emma is in Seattle, WA ready for her adopter.
