Goose

“Well Hello! My name is Goose. You read that right-Goose-like a bird! But as you can see, I’m a dog. I’m the kind of dog that makes people go “SQUEE!” when they see me. I’m a 5 pound maltese-chihuahua mix. I was born 11 years ago and since I was a wee puppy, I’ve lived with the same family. A couple years ago, things took a turn… human babies! Since that happened, I’ve not been the same, happy Goose. I’m just going to tell you-I started peeing in places my family is not happy about. They took me to the doctor and the doctor told them that there was nothing wrong with me. I am not just happy about the kids. So I’m here to find a new home, one without kids that are going to steal the attention I deserve. I’ve never lived with other dogs but when I meet them I’ve fine. Maybe it’d be nice to have a small dog friend like me to hang out with? I can’t say for sure. I’ve never lived with cats so I can’t tell you how I’d react to one. When my people leave, they secure me in an area with pee pads. I am a good boy about going on pads. I’ll go potty outside too but when I find my new home, my new person will need to be patient with me about remembering this skill. You may think I’d be a barky dog, since I’m a wee one-but I’m really not. I do get eye drops every day called “cyclosporine” for my dry eye. It’s not too big a deal but I really do need a person who can afford my eye drops and my veterinary care for the rest of my days. I’m planning on sticking around a while too! I am very good on leash; I don’t need to go for really long walks but I certainly enjoy them. I will play too, really I can be puppy-like sometimes. Most of all I love to snuggle. Would you like to be my forever snuggle buddy?”
