8 year old Hades is a sweet and gentle boy who thrives on attention from his humans. Don’t let his looks fool you, he may look more like a cattle dog, but he has the personality of a Malamute! Hades is a unique, 55 pound mixed breed boy.

Recently Hades lived in an apartment, but he prefers the quiet country life and is not used to the loud city experiences. He is Ok with several short walks each day, but a nice scenic walk or hike makes him very happy. A car ride with the windows cracked is always a great way to start an adventure.

Hades knows many commands. He knows basic commands like “sit”, “down” and “stay”. Loving commands he follows are “hug”, “kiss” and “cuddle”. Fun commands like “dance” and “go through” where he will run through your legs like a tunnel. He has a large vocabulary that you will enjoy playing with him for hours. What a smart boy!!

As a young senior, he still has a lot of puppy energy and does get along with large dogs. He may be fine living with another dog, but would also be happy as the only dog in the house, so that he does not need to share his quality time with his human.

Hades is currently living with a loving foster family. He would love his future furever home to be a quiet, relaxing environment for him where he can play, share your bed and feel like he is your number 1 priority.
