Hadlee is a sweet, polite young senior. She is a greyhound mix, believed to be approximately 9 years old. Hadlee weighs about 67 pounds.

Hadlee waits to be given a treat and never grabs at food. This nice girl listens well, and always tries to please. She enjoys her daily walks but must be kept on-leash due to her tendency to wander off and chase after wildlife. Hadlee would do best with a fenced yard so she can play and explore safely. She loves to lie under the trees and wait for a squirrel sighting!

Hadlee gets along with medium to large sized dogs and older children but is not appropriate around cats and small dogs. Younger children can be unpredictable and scary for her. Hadlee loves being part of a family but also appreciates her own space, seeking affection and snuggles on her terms.

Hadlee has some arthritis, which has slowed her down a bit when initially standing or slowly lying down, but it does not stop her from getting the zoomies. As a greyhound mix she is truly proud of herself when she can show off her speed. She takes stairs slowly but is currently OK navigating them, though she might prefer a home without stairs, as is the case with many senior dogs. Hadlee takes some medications to help with her joints. An adopter should plan on continuing this for her lifelong comfort.

Hadlee is house trained and can go all night without needing to go outside. She is not typically a barker but will alert when other dogs in the house do.

Hadlee is a wonderful pup who enjoys lounging and going for walks with the people she loves.

Hadlee is posted for the Humane Society of Mason County located in Belfair, WA. For more information please go to their website here: www.hsmcwa.org/adopt-421442.html
