“Hi there internet hoomans! Hank here, reaching out for some help in finding myself a new home. The hoomans here at the shelter tell me I’m 10 years old and I still have plenty of pep in my step! I may have fallen on some hard times lately — my hooman passed away — but things are looking up now that I’m under the care of the nice folks here at the shelter. I love to go for walks with the hoomans here, and they let me play ball sometimes which is really fun. Other dogs don’t seem to bother me, but because I still have plenty of energy I might be overwhelming for small or medically fragile dogs. Kids might be fun to play with but they should be old enough to be respectful of my age and condition. It can be a little ruff looking for love this late in life but I’m willing to give it a try if you are! Come to the shelter to visit with me today, I’ll show you that senior dogs can make great pets too!”
