Harvey

Harvey is an adorable 8 year old white and black 52 pound Coonhound  mix looking for a home of his own. Harvey is a fun and active dog who has lots of energy – don’t let his age fool you! He enjoys playing in the yard and going for walks and hikes. Harvey is a big fan of tennis balls and can play fetch all day long. After a day of play, Harvey is happy to cuddle as well. Like most hounds, Harvey can be a talkative guy, so he would do best in a home (no apartments), with a securely fenced in yard and no cats (they can be too fun to chase!). Harvey hasn’t been recently dog tested but during his previous stay at the shelter they found him to be disinterested in other dogs.

Harvey is looking for a quiet home with patient adopters who can give him the time he needs to settle in. Sometimes new people and new situations can be a little intimidating to Harvey, so he would do best in a home without kiddos under the age of 12 so he has some time to get comfortable in his new home.
