Iggy and Casper are a very sweet bonded pair who have lived together their whole lives.  They are both 8 years old and mature but spry.  They enjoy a game of fetch balanced with a lot of cuddle time.  The pair has been in a shelter since August!

Casper is carefree, easygoing, and easily makes friends.  Her tail doesn’t stop wagging. She weighs 57 pounds.

Iggy is the quiet, caring older brother type who is more cautious but once he knows you, he is a full body leaner and snuggler. Iggy weighs 80 pounds.

They have lived with a middle school-aged child in the past. It was noted by their former owner that Casper is afraid of cats.

Both are reportedly potty-trained and were able to be left alone while their person was at work.

No dog belongs in the shelter, but especially not seniors. Giving a bonded senior pair a forever home so that they can remain together is a wonderful feeling. Casper and Iggy are ready to leave the shelter and make their way to their new home.

Iggy and Casper are posted for the Skagit Valley Humane Society located at 18841 Kelleher Rd in Burlington, WA. The shelter is open M-F from 11-5, Sat-Sun from 11-4. Here is where you can apply to adopt Casper and Iggy:
