WANTED: A Lifelong home for an 8 year old, black lab/shepherd mix who weighs about 80 pounds.

Meet Jack! Jack sounds like a fantastic dog. He is good with other dogs and cats and is a very well behaved boy. Jack does well on leash and enjoys daily walks. To Jack, a laser pointer is great fun! He’s not into playing with toys but will fetch a ball if it’s thrown for him. What Jack isn’t appreciative of are young, unpredictable children; those make him nervous.

Jack does well being left alone as needed (once he’s settled into his new home) and can manage a bit before requiring a potty break. While he will bark to let you know someone is at the door, he’s not much of a barker. He does give a cute, happy howl when his person returns home from being away. As a young senior, he can still manage stairs. Jack’s adopter should be able to provide him with regular vet care and good quality food for the rest of his days.

If you are looking for a sweet, people pleasing dog, Jack is the one for you! He is very affectionate and loves to be petted and cuddled. Someone will be very fortunate to make him a part of their family.

Jack is located in Marysville, WA. For contact information please email: referrals@olddoghaven.org

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
