Karma

What a lovely girl! This is Karma, she is a 12 year old Golden Retriever/Chow mix who weighs 87 pounds. Karma sounds like a really nice dog. Currently she lives with another dog and she is reportedly social with new dogs she meets. Karma has also lived with cats and been friendly with them. She has lived with children and has done well with them. Karma doesn’t appreciate being teased over her toys or chew bones so one would want to be sure any children around her wouldn’t do so.

As sometimes occurs in older dogs, Karma has had some urine leakage but that has been remedied with medication that she takes twice a week. Karma can mange quite awhile without needing a potty break. She’s good about staying home when her people need to leave. Karma is used to having the company of another dog during the day so it’d be nice for her to find a home with another friendly, calm dog. She likes to nap either inside the house or outside on nice days. Karma should have a home with a fenced yard.

Karma enjoys her exercise. Being such a big girl, she can really pull when she’s on leash. A Wonder Walker harness could perhaps help with that. We are told that Karma can manage stairs. An adopter should keep in mind as she ages a home with many stairs could become difficult for her.

Karma sounds like a girl who just loves life! She enjoys car rides and rolling in the grass, sun bathing as well as cuddling with her people. On top of all of that, she knows some verbal commands and she’s reportedly not a barky girl. Karma is a loyal companion and someone will be very fortunate to welcome her to their family. She is waiting in Aberdeen, WA. for a new home.
