Lance is very nice senior boy who found himself in a shelter, at risk of euthanasia due to his skin and ear infections. Thanks to Washington German Shepherd Rescue, Lance was shelter pulled and vetted to take care of his medical issues and now Lance is ready for his adoptive home!

Lance is a wonderful 8 year old purebred male German Shepherd. Lance weighs 105 lbs and is a huge affectionate boy. He loves to be pet and loves to lean into people he meets for even more affection.

Lance is being fostered with another shepherd and loves playing with him.  They get along great. He gets along with every Shepherd he has met, in fact. However, Lance is so attentive and loving of his foster parents that he wants all the attention and doesn’t want to share with the other foster sibling. Therefore, the rescue feels he would be happiest as the only dog in the household.

Lance isn’t fond of the crate so he needs a home with someone who is either retired or works from home. Lance has excellent house manners and loves to hang out with you, whether you are watching TV or working on your laptop. He’s ready to meet you!

Handsome Lance is cross posted for Washington German Shepherd Rescue. He is being fostered in Seattle, WA. You can find their adoption application here:

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
