Layla

12 year old Layla came to Pacific Pug Rescue when her elderly owner could no longer care for her. Layla had not been to the vet. She had had just about every neglect related ailment a dog can have. Since coming into rescue she has been to a wonderful vet for a major fix up and is already feeling like a new girl!

Layla has transformed into a lively, active senior, watching all the activities in her foster home and exploring the yard. She ignores the other dogs and mainly focuses on her people. Her rescuer’s expect she would ignore cats as well.

Layla attaches quickly and fiercely to her person and is a sweet, cuddly girl who will thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time. When she needs to be, she is fine on her own for a couple of hours. She is perfectly house-trained and sleeps quietly, wagging wildly when she sees you in the morning.

Layla is deaf and will need daily eye drops, which she doesn’t mind a bit. She weighs 28 pounds but is working on losing a little bit of that weight. If you’re ready for a lovely, goofy lady in your life, Layla is ready to find her loving retirement home.
