Smilin’ Leo is a good looking fellow!  An 80 pound young senior at 8 years old, he is guessed to be a boxer/husky mix.  Leo is described as a snuggly, loyal dog.  He is affectionate and appreciates affection from people.

Leo has lived happily with other dogs and cats.  Leo is NOT happy with a recent addition to his family-a young child. We are told he could live with older kids but a young, unpredictable baby/toddler is too much for Leo. Leo needs a new home!
If you are looking for a more active dog who enjoys swimming and people watching outside, Leo is ready for you! He is known to pull while on leash so one must be able to handle his size and strength. Leo can do stairs at this time. One must remember as he ages, those could become harder for him. We are always sad when we hear a dog must lose its home and family because they can no longer climb stairs they once were able to.
Leo loves to play. A home with a securely fenced yard would suit Leo best. He is used to having other dogs around, so it’d be wonderful to find a new home where he will continue to have doggy buddies to hang out with when his humans have to leave the house.
Leo can manage quite a few hours before he needs a potty break. He does well inside the house, settling in on the couch to wait for his people to come home. Give him some time to learn his new routine in his new home and we bet he’s going to make a great addition!
