Lilly and Simba – Adopted together!

Do you believe in love?

We are Lilly (11 years) and Simba (10 years), but you can think of us as a modern day Lucy and Desi. We’re a quirky old married couple looking for a nice, cozy retirement home. We’ve spent our whole lives together and our children have recently moved away. Now that we’re empty nesters, we’re ready to settle into a new life for our golden years.

We love doing everything together – walks, naps, couch cuddles – you name it. We’re extremely gentle, affectionate dogs and are very comfortable around children as well as other canines. We’re looking for a quiet home in need of some loving, frequently napping pugs.

We’re generally in good health but have the wear and tear that all of us experience along our journey into old age. (Lilly says that she has arthritic hips and could stand to lose a few pounds even though Simba loves her curves and thinks she’s perfect just the way she is.) We’ve been so focused on each other that we don’t know many tricks or commands; however, we learn easily and will do just about anything for a treat.
