What a dainty, pretty girl Lily is. She’s an 8 year old toy fox terrier who weighs 8 pounds. Due to declining health, Lily’s long time person was no longer able to care for her. His family stepped up to do so but unfortunately their resident dog is making life very difficult for her. We are told that Lily herself “needs practice” on her social skills with other dogs. A home with a dog who is friendly and perhaps more her size would more than likely be better for Lily. With assurance from her new person, she could be safe, relax and just enjoy having a canine buddy. Or she could be an “only dog”! Lily has not lived with or been observed around cats. She currently lives with children but because of her size, it’d be best for her to find a home with kids age 10 and over who will be gentle and respectful. Lily is crated at bedtime and we are told she can manage between 6-7 hours without needing a potty break. She IS a terrier and will bark accordingly; one must take that into consideration. While she’s not getting out to exercise much currently, one would think she’d appreciate getting out for walks and fun.

This is what we consider to be a “young senior”! Lily has so much to offer someone. We are told that Lily is very alert and that she loves attention and affection.

Lily is in Puyallup, WA waiting for her adoptive home.

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
