“Hey there! I’m Ms. Lily Belle or Lily for short. I am 12 year old girl who weighs 7 pounds. My caregiver says I’m a Yorkshire terrier. What do you think? Whatever I may be, I am told I’m a cutie! I love everyone! Other dogs and cats are fine. I am used to living with other animals. I have been good with kids too, as long as they are nice and gentle to me.

“I am a cuddly girl who loves attention and being around my people. I will make sure you never feel lonely. That doesn’t mean I’m a needy gal; just a loving one! I can stay alone when needed but am used to having company. I enjoy being held and just hanging out with my person on the couch.

“When I’m happy I do a hop and scamper with a tail that wags so hard you’d think I could take off into the sky! It would do me good to get out for short walks, keep me moving as I do have some arthritis. I do pretty good while I’m on leash. Stairs that are tall can be hard on my little legs but hey, I’m easily carried!

“My hearing may not be as sharp as it once was. You can see I hang my tongue out; this means someone needs to be sure my teeth are taken care of. Dental care is so important! We dogs cannot brush our teeth like humans can.

“I will bark to let you know when someone has arrived at the door. If you have to leave the house, I can use a potty pad. It is nice to have friends to hang with when the human leave the house, this is what I have always known, companionship of other animals.

“My lifelong human grew old and could no longer care for me. I wish to never lose another home, I am looking for a rest-of-my-life commitment. If you are looking for a pal and can afford to keep me groomed and take me to a vet, I will make it worth your while! I am hoping to find someone soon-a family to belong to forever!”
