Meet Little Joe!
Little Joe arrived in March from a large shelter where he had ended up several times. At 15+ years, he’s rather frail and feeling every year.
He moved to a temporary foster to get his medical care started. He has a heart murmur, is under weight, disc damage in his back, multiple healed rib fractures, Osteopenia and the echo found Pulmonary Hypertension.
At his foster home, he has taken a shine to Cocoa, the other foster dog – a Chi – and shares his bed and follows him around. He sees really well, can hear when he wants to, and is pretty much house trained. After a few weeks in his foster home, his foster decided she would keep this sweet old man.
Thanks to Old Dog Haven and your support, Little Joe’s best days are still ahead of him!
