A sweet, gentle old man

16-year-old Paddington was turned into a shelter as a stray. This poor guy was in terrible shape and suffering from many medical issues.
He was dehydrated, underweight, mostly deaf and had limited vision due to untreated chronic dry eye. He badly needed grooming and he was missing most of his teeth and the remaining teeth were rotten.
We found him a wonderful and caring foster home and he has now settled into his new life.
He was soon able to receive all the medical care he had gone so long without. He saw a cardiologist, who was able to address his recently diagnosed heart disease and high blood pressure and then an ophthalmologist who is treating his dry eye and other issues.
Paddington is also scheduled for his much-needed dental surgery, where they will remove his remaining infected teeth. His mom describes him as “an absolute dream” and says he is a sweet, gentle old man who loves everyone and enjoys daily walks, naps and treats. Thanks to Old Dog Haven and your support, Paddington’s best days are still ahead of him.
